ZAC EDINGTON is a Midwestern born singer/songwriter from the southern part of Illinois currently residing in Nashville, TN. He was raised listening to the sounds of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, and countless other musical heroes. This led to a deep love of all things music. Zac joined his first band in high school and started playing shows shortly after that. The thrill of performing cover material was just not enough, so he took up an interest in writing his own. This decision, in turn, supplied the means for his first studio EP, “From The Ashes”. He has previously had the great experience of opening a show for country music star Joe Diffie. Zac is now a proud member of the Winter Records label out of Nashville and plays shows all over the country.

THE DAVE LEFFLER QUARTET (DLQ) has been a popular Fairfield band since 2010, performing at FAIRfest, the Iowa City Jazz Festival, and the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center. She performs regularly in the jazz duo My Romance with her husband Dr. David Leffler, leader of the Dave Leffler Quartet. The DLQ plays jazz in a traditional way, with pleasing, accessible melodies and harmonies.

Infused with handcrafted aesthetics, highlighting the work of over a dozen artisans including renowned wood carver John Schirmer, the Depot Brewery offers a full service bar with organic craft beer.

“Let the good times roll!!” — Sam Theard

Hey everybody, let’s have some fun
You only live but once, and when you’re dead you’re done
So let the good times roll, let the good times roll
Don’t care if you’re young or old, get together let the good times roll

The DEPOT BREWERY began as a vision of Bob and Judy Bernards 20 years ago when they purchased the depot train building in Fairfield, Iowa. The dream was to create a neighborhood family business in the heart of New Chicago, an area so named, some say, back as 1870 from the blacksmithing and train hub that connected Fairfield to Chicago.

A California couple who’ve lived in Hawaii, Tahoe, Fairfield, and managed a Harley Davidson touring company, launched their labor of love four years ago, focusing on a design space that would be ideal for live music. Bob jammed Fridays for years just down the street from the Brewery in a funky upstairs loft called The Boogie Shack. He performed in the 1990s with local group the Diamondback$, opening for the legendary likes Bo Diddley, Lonnie Brooks and L’il Ed & the Blues Imperials, as house band for over a year in a local New Chicago bar.

The Depot Brewery features the hand craftsmanship of over a dozen local artisans, including ace woodcarver John Schirmer, graphic designer Maggie Ronan, and others.
